Meet The Team

Rochelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2008 and her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Autism from SAGE Graduate School in 2014. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2016 and obtained her Virginia state licensure in January 2018. In 2022, she earned certification in Organizational Behavior Management (OBM).
Throughout her career, Rochelle has worked in various settings, including in-home, clinic, telehealth, and residential environments. She specializes in working with children ages 2-9 but has experience with individuals up to age 21. Rochelle is particularly passionate about mentoring BCBA students and supporting staff pursuing their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
She is committed to creating efficient systems and processes within agencies, which inspired her to pursue her OBM certification. Rochelle integrates Brene Brown’s leadership principles into her work, adopting a humanistic and empathetic approach to supervision and staff development. Her dedication to the science of ABA informs her work and enhances her commitment to improving the quality of life for her clients.

Karen is the Chief Operating Officer of Elevate Behavioral Health.
She attended St. John’s University in New York where she studied psychology and obtained her nursing degree at Stevenson University in Maryland. Born and raised in New York, she moved to Virginia in 1998, making it her home. With over 27 years of experience, Karen holds a B.S. in Nursing and has gravitated towards Psychiatric and Home Health nursing.
As the COO of Elevation Behavioral Health, she manages the daily administrative and operational functions of the company, working closely with department heads and supervisors to support the day-to-day activities of employees.
Outside of work, Karen is a mom of three who enjoys traveling and exploring other countries

Don is a New York native who loves all that Virginia has to offer. He has a unique education background, with degrees in social work and divinity from Virginia Union University. Don believes his calling in life led him to work in the helping professions. With many years in the human services field, he enjoys collaborating with like-minded individuals ensuring that the community is receiving quality mental health services. Don is currently the Chief Marketing and Outreach Officer for Elevate Behavioral Health, In that role, Don has primary responsibility for community outreach activities and business development for the service areas. However, his greatest accomplishment is his family. You can find him anywhere in the mental health community, from participating in community events to being a guide for those struggling with behavioral health issues. Krystal is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience serving children and adults. Born and raised in New York, she holds a B.S. in Pre-Med Biology and a Master's in Counselor Education from Virginia State University.
She specializes in outpatient therapy, crisis management, mental health skill building, and intensive in-home services. Krystal operates from a Solution-Focused and Reality/Choice perspective, frequently utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered, and solution-focused techniques.
Outside of work, Krystal enjoys writing and listening to music that moves her spirit. She is a devoted mother and believes in showing up with integrity and purpose in all roles of life.

Jamica graduated from Capella University with a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and has been working for eight years in the mental health field. She is now a licensed mental health professional, working as a resident in counseling. Jamica thrives on building connections with her clients and enjoys meeting new people.
Jamica Allen is a proud mother of two beautiful girls, Marley and Rhyan, and has been happily married to her husband for 10 years. She loves vacationing at the beach and traveling with her family. Her favorite destination is the island of Jamaica, which she adores so much that she has visited it over 15 times. Jamica and her family also have two miniature schnauzers, Denver and Milo.

My name is Felisha Paul! Born in Miami Beach, Florida raised in Haiti. I graduated from the Virgina State University with my bachelors in psychology and then pursued my master’s degree in psychology with a focus on applied behavior analysis I became a BCaBA June 2023. My passion is with families and providing the support they need, in addition to giving them the necessary tools to be successful outside of therapy sessions. I am committed to inclusion!
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, playing basketball, and engaging in community service outreach with my sorority!

Sherrie was born and raised in Richmond, VA. She graduated from Hampton University with a degree in Psychology and earned her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University.
With over 10 years of experience in various areas of the mental health field, Sherrie is dedicated to supporting our community.
Outside of work, she loves traveling, sightseeing, music, and spending time at the beach.

Dawnisha is a dedicated and experienced mental health professional with over 26 years in the field. She is currently pursuing a degree in Social Science – Pre-Social Work at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, with plans to transfer to Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Social Work in Fall 2024.
Since relocating to Richmond, VA in 2011, Dawnisha has served as a Qualified Paraprofessional in Mental Health (QPPMH), delivering compassionate and skill-based support to individuals and families. Her strengths lie in helping clients improve daily living skills, manage symptoms, and achieve meaningful progress in their recovery.
For the past six years, Dawnisha has also played a key role on the management team, working closely with program directors, quality assurance specialists, and human resources to ensure the smooth operation and quality of services provided.
She is a certified Handle With Care Trainer, underscoring her commitment to safe, trauma-informed, and respectful behavioral interventions.
Dawnisha is deeply passionate about client care and professional growth and is known for her reliability, warmth, and leadership within the Elevate team.

Raeshaun Jones is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for supporting both clients and clinicians in their personal and professional growth. As Clinical Supervisor at Elevate Behavioral Health, LLC, Raeshaun provides clinical oversight, mentorship, and guidance to a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. Her leadership is rooted in fostering a supportive environment that emphasizes ethical practice, collaborative learning, and continuous professional development.

DeVaughn L. Johnson currently serves as the Director of Mentoring & Home-Based Services at Elevate Behavioral Health, where he leads the agency’s mentoring initiatives and home-based services in partnership with Virginia’s Department of Juvenile Justice. With over a decade of experience in the mental and behavioral health field, Mr. Johnson brings a strategic and compassionate approach to supporting youth and families navigating complex challenges.
In his leadership role, Mr. Johnson oversees the development and delivery of Elevate’ s mentoring programs, supervises mentor staff, and ensures the timely completion of documentation and reporting. He also serves as a key liaison between Elevate Behavioral Health and external stakeholders, including probation officers and referral sources, to promote continuity of care and positive client outcomes.
Mr. Johnson holds a Master of Science in Counseling Studies from Capella University and is certified in Virginia as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A) and Qualified Mental Health Professional-Child (QMHP-C). His professional background includes leadership in program development, quality assurance, and risk management. He is widely recognized for his professionalism, dedication, and commitment to improving outcomes for at-risk youth and families—both through his work at Elevate Behavioral Health and within the broader community.
